New Track: Deep-Fried Dropkick

5. July 2009 15:49 by Hamst3r in Tracks

OHSHI-”, you say.

Yes. Ohshi- indeed, I have finished a new track…and it is here!

The last track was Chillout. The track before that was Post-Rock and the track before that was Bigbeat. So how about some Disco-inspired stuff?

In making this track, I thought up some new ideas to try out, so there should be another new track following close behind. No promises though, creativity does what it wants. :)

New Track: Everything Resolves Eventually

27. June 2009 15:50 by Hamst3r in Tracks

Hey, how about a new track?

Went into chill out territory this time. Strings, pads, piano, horn and little percussive noises abound. At 5 1/2 minutes, this is the longest track I’ve written in a while. Just relax and drift away. :)

New Track: Making Contact

22. June 2009 15:52 by Hamst3r in Tracks

I have a new computer and I have made a new song using this new computer that is new. Oh my!

The track is called Making Contact. This is my first foray into a style heavily inspired by Post-Rock music. With that comes dissonant guitars drenched in delay, bass guitar, rock drums and a few synths that are also drenched in delay for good measure.

Aperture: Déjà Vu Soundtrack

21. June 2009 16:00 by Hamst3r in Tracks

Hey! Got 8 new tracks for you today, which equate to a little over 15 minutes of music. The music is overall very ambient with the exception of the last track.

This is the soundtrack for the Portal modification titled Aperture: Déjà vu. Information about the mod can be found on ModDB.

This music differs from my prior set of Portal Inspired Music in that the lead designer requested that the music be less melodic and more ambient. So I’ve used more evolving and noise-oriented sounds to keep the music interesting without a lot of melody going on.

This set of music has also been mixed louder than the previous set, so it should fit better in your music collection. :)

1. Deja Vu
2. Coil
3. Cyclical Chambers
4. Soul of the Machine
5. Administrator Access
6. Redundancy
7. Paramnesia
8. Why Did You Come Here

This collection has also been added to the music page.

New Track: Impact Event

4. June 2009 16:02 by Hamst3r in Tracks

Hey!

You may have heard a bit of this track already in a Youtube video titled HRDCR. This is the completed version of that track which takes the initial idea much further.

Sharp Synths, distorted guitar and strings on top of a heavy beat and swirling ambience. The first half of this song is very video game like while the second half is a more cinematic style.

or stream it on THA Radio.

Enjoy!
